Transmission and Distribution engineer
current employer is AECOM
Favourite thing to do in my job: Redesign some of railway electrical systems to be power by renewable energy (i.e. mostly small scale Wind turbines and solar panels)
good at working with my hands and my problem solving only gets better when I am building an electrical system
I live in Glasgow, Scotland. its mostly raining here but when its not it is everyone leaves their houses and go hiking. I like watching anime, my favourite anime currently are one-piece, full metal alchemist brotherhood and my hero academia. on my free time i play lots of sports like badminton, football or go to the gym to get stronger
make sure trains all have electrical in the next 10 years and also make sure they don't crash in to each other.
I do lots of different jobs for different people at my job which all focused on changing the railway to allow more electric trains to be used. I also am in charge of a team of engineers who are now building the small train you see in the pictures and we will be finishing it in June 18th and testing it in a competition against other small trains. after the competition the train will be used for STEM activities so school student could ride on it when tey visit our depos.
My Typical Day: is mostly on the computer but sometimes I get a change to programme and build electrical devices mostly for demonstration in STEM events..
