      Of course, yes! It’s part of why I do loads of work with schools. I want to show all young people that we’re all deserving of the same career/educational opportunities regardless of gender.

      Yes, of course. We definitely need more female engineers too to help make it a better, more diverse area of work – luckily that is happening, but can be faster.

      Definitely. I believe everyone should be treated equally, both in work and outside of it, regardless of someone’s gender, sexuality, race or ability. I’m a huge advocate for giving women the same opportunity as men, and making sure their voices are heard. A lot of people think feminism is all about women being better than men, but it really isn’t. It’s fighting for equality for both sexes!

      Yes, I firmly believe in equality for all! Regardless of background, how they identify or how we perceive them, everyone should be treated the same.

      ‘Feminist’ definitely means different things to different people – but for me it’s all about equality for everyone, regardless of gender or anything else – and I’m definitely into that!
      Your gender (or sexuality, race, etc.) shouldn’t make a difference if you want to do a particular job or take a particular opportunity – and those opportunities should be open to everyone. There’s still a lot of work to do to make sure that everyone not only gets offered the same chances, but also has the same ability to take those chances – it doesn’t always mean treating everyone identically, but making sure that nobody is unfairly disadvantaged in reaching the end goal!

      I believe in equality of rights for all independent of sex, race, and social standing. I believe lack of opportunity for poorer communities is a much bigger problem than lack of opportunities for women. More variety is always better.

      I believe in equity and increasing diversity of thought is a good thing for engineers.

      Yes and to be honest this is the reason I take part in STEM activities for students. I believe having a more (gender) diverse workplace is essential in designing equitable solutions to the world’s problems.
